This game is dying slowly, every time the devs give an update the player count will rise for a week max and nosedive even lower than before. While this seems nice and kind-hearted, it feels like it comes from a place of "we're better than everyone else, so we're going to be the edgy teens that don't fit in". The management have voiced they are against going free to play and microtransactions. Overall the gameplay, while fun at first because of the prop hunt aspect, turns hollow after a while. There are no perks, just items you get in-game through chests in the map. For the survivors, they recently removed starting items so currently there is no difference for survivors except what they look like. Cryosphere and blood shard are jokes and you might as well remove them if you refuse to buff them. Their gameplay items they can purchase in-game feel weak and some are straight up useless. The FACE OF THIS GAME (Keymaster, old guy killer) isn't even in the game.įor the content itself, the killers feel weak and get constantly nerfed into the ground. There is a lot of content that has been leaked or teased that never saw the light of day. This means you will be playing the same people over and over, as well as getting filled to roles you didn't queue for constantly. Content updates happen far and few between, and the playerbase dips very low between updates. Take a look at Overwatch's lootbox system for inspiration on something that feels good to use.īecause of the lack of progression systems, that means this game is solo carried by it's gameplay and content.

I recommend a full rework of the coin system and the removal of duplicates from lootboxes you buy with duplicate coins. You have no other things to work towards and no goal oriented gameplay. There is nothing good about this, and there is no reason to have two separate currencies. This is an EXTREMELY wasteful system that doesn't respect the time you put in to grind for coins. Get coins through wins/kills/missions > buy a lootbox > probably a duplicate cosmetic > you get special duplicate currency > you get another duplicate > You end with less coins then you started with and get absolutely nothing in return Here is your current and ONLY progression loop: This sounds okay, but the system to it's core is not built to last. The only "goal" you have is to get coins to buy lootboxes with. The main problem I find with this game is it lacks any type of progression system.
